I was out of the shop for almost 2 weeks last month, but that doesn’t mean the action stopped. This time we are going back in time to April of 2015. There was a great recall at the time, Diesel Gate was months away, and I think I had just started as the Shop Forman. Some good times and some broken cars. Today we are going to look at the State of the Shop. I wanted to cover a handful of topics in one video and keep everyone up to date on the happenings at the VW dealer. This show we are going back to mid March of 2015. We had just hired two new guys from tech school. If I recall correctly, one was invited to leave after about 3 weeks. Nice dude, but wasn’t cut out for the job. The other did really well. We are also talking about TDI cold start issues, wiper blades freezing, and other weather related issues.
